Analyzing if pole position is the best place to start
Formula 1 is a sport that has been around for decades. It is a sport that is known for its speed, excitement, and unpredictability. One of the most important goals of a Formula 1 driver is to start in pole position. But is starting in pole position really the best place to start? In this project for my cogs108 class, me and my group will be analyzing data starting from the 1950s to see if aiming for pole position is the best strategy for winning.
